Distinguished Guests and Colleagues,

On behalf of the Korean Institute of Industrial Engineers (KIIE), it is my honor to welcome you to the 26th Asia Pacific Industrial Engineering and Management Systems Conference (APIEMS 2026). We are excited to host this special 26th meeting in the beautiful city of Busan, Korea, from November 29th to December 2nd, 2026.

Today, technology is changing faster than ever. In this changing world, Industrial Engineering plays a very important role. It connects new data and technology with the real-world systems we use every day. This year, we have gathered experts from all over the Asia-Pacific region to talk about our main theme: "Artificial Intelligence-Driven Industrial Engineering."

Our goal for APIEMS 2026 is to explore how AI can make our industries smarter and more efficient. We will share new ideas on how to use AI in factories, supply chains, and data analysis. This conference is a great place for researchers and industry leaders to work together. We want to turn great ideas into real solutions that help our society.

We are also very proud to support our students and young researchers. We hope this event gives them a chance to learn from global leaders and find inspiration for their future work. To all our participants, I encourage you to enjoy the technical sessions and also take some time to experience the culture and energy of Busan.
